AGRICULTURAL DESALINATION
In various parts of the world, the drought often causes serious increasing in the level of salt in the groundwaters. For this reason farmers are obliged to use salty waters to irrigate the crops spreading in this way, new salt in the irrigated soils. During the rare rainy events, the rain disolving the salt from the soils which by percolation, it bring to underground increasing in this way the salt content of the groundwaters. To stop this vicious cycle, into 1982 we began to think of the "Agricultural Desalination" from which has been born the "Agricultural Desalinators" by Ingiaimo. Since that time, 100.s of farms have finally solved the problem of excessive salinity into irrigation water.
